I’ma be honest, I am not a big Star Wars fan, but luckily I married a man whose goal in life is to be like Hans Solo. Literally he is training to be a pilot and Hans Solo is his hero. But, I will tell you what, I LOVE themed weddings! They are so cute and fun to be a part of. Sharay and Leo’s wedding was just as epic as they are 🙂
They have Star Wars tattoos! Yea, they are getting married…but tattoos…now that is a commitment! Obviously they love each other and Star Wars a whole lot!
It was such a joy to get to know these two. It makes my heart melt to see them together. The way she smiles when he makes her laugh. I told him to whisper into her ear why he married her, he started rapping haha. They complete each other. I wish them all the happiness together.
It was a lovely Sunday at the end of June. Only about 111 degree high in Gilbert, Arizona. Triple ones, that means good luck right? The ceremony was set to be outside, which was awesome because they were getting married in front of a beautiful waterfall.
I got there early to take pictures of the building and to setup her present. Her tattoo is of Asouka. I just happened to have a bunch of Star Wars Infinity characters. I made Asouka a little veil <3 then put that ontop of my greetabl box with a couple of goodies inside.
Here are a few photos taken just before the ceremony
This is one of my favorite photos because you can see the emotion:
Check out these beautiful Star Wars details. They signed their marriage license with Darth Vader’s Light Saber. They had light saber fights and a light saber arch. Their cutlery had light saber handles.
The bride entered to this song, press play while you look at the photos for an enhanced experience.
The bridal party looked like the belong on a luxe magazine cover.
You know I’m a sucker for sun flare! Soooo romantic <3
Their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Barrios was to “Across the Stars” from Star Wars. Absolutely beautiful, her dress flowed so gracefully
Their cake was absolutely delicious! From Nothing Bundt Cakes
Leo was hilarious with the garter belt…
She really wanted the bouquet more than anyone I think. Look at Sharay’s perfect form tossing it!
They both love soccer too, Leo played a little game with a couple of guests:
The reception was such a blast! Right before I left, Sharay said I should dance. I was dancing a little while taking photos already ha. I put down my camera then somehow ended up being the front of a conga line. It was so much fun! They defiantly know how to party 🙂
Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Barrios! Love you both!
